| Excellent choice of tunes! I am a country music girl at heart, but like some of the top 40 stuff, oldies and LOVE retro 80's stuff. I like some Classic Rock stuff as long as it's not heavy in nature and and I listen to a lot of easy listening type stuff.
Blessed be, Lisa | |

| yeah...rush is a band you either like or you don't. Not many people like Geddy Lee's vocals lol. I dunno, i just grew off it...when i saw them a long while back at the Sars relief concert in toronto. Ever since they've been my favorite band, and i've been to a few of their concerts too...one being this year in september | |

| My co-worker went to a Rush concert in September and the person he was going with had to cancel last minute so he asked me if I wanted to go. I should have gone just to say I went, but I wasn't sure I could sit through a few hours of music I don't really hang off of.
Blessed be, Lisa | |

| slipknot eh, i had a few of they're songs, i am not realy into them much, some of their music isn't anything good to listen too because of lyrics. But they're an ok band. Right now i've been into a lot of Rise against, and HIM. I like their style of rock, like the crisp clear guitar and all. But my all time favorite and always will be is RUSH. And i mite be going to see them in july again cause they are touring ...yay!!! | |

| Personally I prefer Country Music (Darryl Worley, Dixie Chicks, Jack Ingram, Josh Turner, Keith Urban, Rodney Atkins, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith etc.) and Christian Music (Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me etc.).... However, from time to time I tend to listen to a bit soft rock too! But of course, I'm from the Country, so somewhere it makes sense that I like Country Music | |

Slip knot huh....i was at there first concert in Iowa....totally horrifying.....now that I look back on it.....Santan works through them in such a way that it is truley disturbing even hearing there beats. I would suggest bro that you maybe take a look at some christian rock bands...such as norma jean...disciple....piller....skillet....just something that has the beat you are looking for but Glorifies our Lord rather than the devil. Just my .02 God Bless

God Bless Redeemed, i totally support what you are saying here. And nothing against Matt for listening to them, but maybe there is other bands out there...like those redeemed mentioned, that have a very similiar style, but have much better values on life. Nicely put Redeemed, hopefully Matt you don't take this in the wrong way, but i hear what Redeemed is trying to tell you

| I enjoy Pillar, Switchfoot, Newsboys, Good Ole Audio Adrenaline, Flyleaf, Josh Groban, Skillet, etc... I also have a bit of secular music I listen to, but with that I try and weed out what I listen to and what I don't, because to be realistic even some secular bands make songs with a good message, so I have a little Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, 3 Days Grace, Daughtry, etc... Other than that, most of what I listen to is sountracks. I have music from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and I'm sure more. Almost 11.3 hours of my music is soundtracks. | |
